Project
The Vue is a sensitive renovation of a classically modern, mid-century community built around a large, terraced courtyard, and set in to a hillside above Meydenbauer Bay. Comprising three primary wings of three, four and five stories, the architectural layout of the complex allows an unusually high percentage of its thirty three units to enjoy exquisite bayside outlooks. Separate balcony entrances and large private decks ensure an enhanced sense of autonomy for each unit, while lush, mature plantings, terraces and a grand, central water feature provide restful natural views out of every window. ![]() |
Noted local architect Jeffrey Hummel has comprehensively redesigned each unit as well as the building exterior and common areas for easy modern living. He has been involved in many innovative condominium and residential projects in the area. The original architecture is enhanced through the use of contemporary and natural materials such as ledge stone, hardwoods, metals and glass, giving the building a chic, Zen-like sensibility. All of the units have been optimized for casual contemporary living, with open, easily configurable floor plans in the main living areas, central island gourmet kitchens and sensuous, spa-like baths. The Vue's build-out has been entrusted to Saltaire Construction, a highly respected name in residential and adaptive reuse contracting, and the company responsible for numerous high quality new projects and redevelopments in the Puget Sound area. By focusing on re-envisioning an existing structure, The Vue's development team, headed by Preferred Property Group / Orix Real Estate, has managed to bring unprecedented levels of quality, luxury, design integrity and value to the Bellevue condominium market. |
